The Dovetail is a unique boutique that has been a part of the Glenside community for over 45 years. Rhiannon Punzo became the 3rd owner in January 2021, following Elayne Aion’s tenure. We celebrate the talents of local artists and makers by selling their goods, as well as cards, retail items, and merchandise for just about everyone.
Want local pantry items like neighborhood honey, herbal teas, or Pennsylvania Maple Syrup? We have them! Looking for beautiful, one of a kind jewelry? You better believe it! Fine art prints, gorgeous ceramic pottery pieces, original paintings, body lotions and facial serums, cocktail/mocktail mixers? Why yes, we have all of these things, too!
owner ✷ RHIANNON PUNZO
My name is Rhiannon, and I grew up in rural Northeast Pennsylvania on a dairy farm but have called Glenside home for the past 14 years. I have been interested in art and entrepreneurship since I was very young. After high school I attended Kutztown University and double majored in Fine Arts and Art Education. After multiple adventures with teaching it became obvious to me that making & selling things was my biggest passion. I have four children who inspire me and exhaust me on a repetitive loop. Being a mom is my absolute favorite thing, but it’s followed up closely by being a creative person. I’m proud to be able to contribute to the Glenside community that I feel very lucky to be a part of.

Joanna is the shop & CO Lab’s assistant and marketing director. A Glenside resident since 2014 who joined Rhiannon at The Dovetail in January ‘24. An artist, mom, dance teacher, and an ice cream aficionado. Joanna is the owner & creator of a jewelry brand called Space Junk in which she makes everything from start to finish here in Glenside!
